Todd H. Johnson grew up in Fairmont, Minnesota, where he enjoyed staying active, playing sports, and spending time near the water. He attended Augustana College before transferring to the University of Minnesota, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with distinction. Todd later earned his Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law while working during the day and attending classes at night.
Following his father and brother into the legal profession, Todd has practiced law since 1980, concentrating on estate planning and real estate. Throughout his career, he has helped clients with estates of all sizes, from straightforward plans to complex, multimillion-dollar estates. Todd enjoys getting to know his clients and their families so he can create thorough, personalized estate plans that reflect their individual needs and goals. He eventually built what became Johnson Law Group, P.A.
Todd is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and North Dakota, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. In 1990, he was certified as a Real Property Law Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association.
Outside of work, Todd enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and playing music. He played keyboard and guitar in a neighborhood rock-and-roll band for approximately 10 years, performing at community and charitable events. Todd and his wife, Amy, have been married for 38 years and are proud parents and grandparents.
